Our Story
Bella Viva Orchards is a family-owned and operated processor, supplier, and marketer of dried fruits. Driven by integrity, authenticity, and passion, we have been growing fruits and producing dried fruits for over 30 years, and our family has farmed in California for more than 60 years. Fruit orchards surround our facility on land that has been in our family since 1943.
Named after our daughters, Vivian and Belle, Bella Viva, roughly translated, means beautiful life in Italian. The name captures the essence of Bella Viva Orchards and all that we aspire to provide to all we serve.
We have developed a proprietary method of drying fruits naturally without the use of any additives, preservatives, or added sugars while retaining the integrity of flavor, nutrition, and texture of various dried fruits such as cherries, apples, pears, peaches, blueberries, oranges, and lemons. As a market leader, we have set the standard in the industry for natural dried fruit. In 1988, we began in the retail chains with trays and confections and have expanded and evolved into a bulk supplier of ready-to-eat naturally dried fruit. We are pleased to promote our “Beautiful Life” message, our wish for you – to all we serve.
Our Manufacturing Division proudly serves the RTE ingredient sector, private-label market, wholesalers, and distributors. We recognize the importance of consistent supply, nimbility, technical knowledge, and supplier expertise.
